Community service

For my community service i have been helping out at the project share at Happy Valley
Elementary School. It is a program for kids to go to get homework done and try new things. So i am there teaching alot of the young girls and a couple guys to dance.I have been dancing for about 7 years now and i would love to help them see if they enjoy it as much as me. I have been teaching them the names of moves and we are working on hip hop routine. There are people who are into it more than others but to me they all look like they are having fun.

Senior reflections

When you did the visualization of your funeral, how did you want to be remembered?

I want to remembered as loving caring person. Someone that people will miss and care about. Someone that a person could talk to and be their self around. I didnt want people to hate me. I want no drama and problems at my funeral.

What are some of the qualities or values that are important to you?

Its important to me to have a close relationship with my family. They will always be on your side and love you. I believe in being you, not trying to act like someone different.

During our discussion about “Circle of Influences” What were some of the important influences, events and people, in your life as you were growing up?

I think you biggest influence in my life was my 5th grade teacher. He helped me through some hard times. I will never for get him because h was an amazing person, friend, and teacher.

How did these influences impact you and help shape you into the person that you are today?

It helped me over come a lot of stuff in my life. I know i can get through anything when i think about it.

Many of you wrote a letter to dream when you were a freshman. What was your reaction when you had the opportunity to read this letter again?

I was here my freshman year i and i didn't get one.

Have your dreams or plans changed?

They i in many was. i wanted to be a nurse and now i don't. Things change.

What are some of your thoughts and feelings about your next step into the future? .

Where I am from.

I am from cloths, from Hollister and Mac.

I am from the crazy green house on the block.

I am from roses, and the tomatoes.

I am from peaches and eyes, from Jessica and Kathy and Abney.

I am from laughing and TV.

From no laying and showering every day.

I’m from California, and biscuits and gravy.

From the time I saw a shark swimming in the ocean, the road trips, and the crazy family BBQ’s.

I am from the hope crest with all our family memories.

Philosophical objection

I think that this student should have just done what the teacher said. By what she told us he just likes to argue with people. He just wants to get a raise out of people and i think he should do his work instead of complaining all the time. But on the other hand i think maybe he really hates blogging. Maybe this one time he is really saying what he really means.

My hero

I have many different heroes, for many different reasons. I feel like you don’t have to save lives to be someone’s hero, or you can its up to you. It should be someone who you look up to for guidance. Someone that makes you be your best every day. My mom, fire fights, and Mr. Rich are just some of my heroes that I really look up to and that I’m inspirited by.

My mom is very caring and strong in every day life. She takes care of her family and stills finds time to spend on things she enjoys. She seems like she never gets tired or cranky. I love spending time with her even if it is just talking about how our day went. She is always willing to take a seat to listen if anyone needs help. My mom is a hero to me but to her she is just being a great mom.

A fire fighter is also one of the people I would consider my hero. They are always putting their lives on the line for people they don’t even know. They don’t hesitate when it comes to running in a burning building to save the neighborhood cat. Even though they have families of their own, they still choose to help citizens in need. If that’s not a hero, I don’t know what is.

Last but not least, is my fifth grade teacher Mr. Rich. When no one else would believe in me he was there to guide the way. His dedication to me helped me pass reading my fifth grade year. Even when I wanted to give up, he would push me to keep moving forward. Without him, I wouldn’t be graduating with all my friends that I grew up with. If there were more kind hearted teachers like him, then every kid would have a hero.

I picked my heroes by people that helped me in my life to over come a difficult situation. They are all willing to help even if it takes sometime. I have so much respect for all of them for what they do, not only for me but for other people. I wish there was a way to pay them back for how great they are but in their book they are just living their every day life, normal as can be.
